Fee structures

ETM Placements rates are highly competitive and completely transparent to both contractor and client. The 1998 APESMA survey of members using labour hire agencies found the median commission charged by agencies to be 15% (mean was 13.4%)

ETM Placements charges a fee of 12% on all contracts.

We also provide a complete cost breakdown so that you understand exactly how fees are allocated.

ETM Placements values customer service and offers a range of products and services to our contractors and consultants:

Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

Any professional who is self-employed, contracting or consulting should have indemnity/liability insurance in place to protect their assets against the potential of being sued for breach of professional duty.

As an optional service to our contractors and consultants, ETM Placements has developed a comprehensive cover with CGU Professional Risks Insurance which offers a cost effective method to manage professional indemnity and public liability.

Contractors and consultants can contribute to the policy whilst they are working on the following basis:

  1. Professional Indemnity 4% of gross salary
  2. Public Liability 2% of gross salary.

This Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance provides automatic run-off cover upon completion of your contract, eliminating the need for you to maintain insurance cover after your contract ends, as is the case for independent contractors.

This comprehensive insurance cover can be arranged for you through ETM Placements at the commencement of your contract.

Alternatively, contractors and consultants who wish to apply for individual insurance cover.

Our extensive experience in the employment industry combined with the latest information from APESMA's comprehensive remuneration surveys, allows us to provide reliable information to our contractors and consultants.
